My response to a college brief set out by Hollard, we were asked to create an illustration-based calendar month design for the year 2017 based on a playful, quirky and smart theme. I chose the month of September
September is Heritage month and South Africa is not short of cultural diversity that each have unique cuisines, especially when it comes to our desserts. This allows us to celebrate Heritage Day in a different way, by sharing the ‘sweet things‘ that come from the diverse cultures and heritages of South Africa.
I created a calendar using various illustrations of the ‘sweet things’ that are easily recognisable to South Africans.
A concept for a dessert recipe book for Hollard employees. The book title is 'Koekies and Ukhilimu', meaning ‘Cookies and Cream‘.
