Ishanya Logo
Ishanya is a Design Degree show where students from design school showcase their work to industry. Ishanya means north-east corner which considered as the holy and sacred part of the house. Department of Design IIT Guwahati, is situated in the Nort-Eastern part of India, hence this name Ishanya (ईशान्य) for our Design Exhibition been chosen.
This logo identity was designed in 2012 for that particular edition of DDS.Using a Devanagari script is a challenge at the same time it surprises on its course and lead to a great result, which make people gaze at it.

Design may be a bit contextual for the country like India, but it’s certainly an eye catching arrangement with a prominent meaning what it says at the core of it.
