In abstract painting I use a visual language of form, color and line to create a composition which may exist with a degree of independence from visual references in the world. The method used for abstract paintings in this project is not typical. Gauze and jute strings glued to the canvas create an interesting 3D effect. I do not limit myself to choose one painting media. The base is acrylic paint which is used for background, gauze and jute strings. On some backgrounds I used water miscible oil paints to create smoother effect. I use different kinds of brushes starting from 2" for larger surfaces, ending on 0" for details. One of the commonly use technique is "drip" technique. I use cotton canvas with medium grain texture stretched on the wooden frame.
