Ideation Process
We initially had heating gloves that also plays music while user holds a shovel. However, after the feedback, we realized that the music and the heating aren't fully connected.
Therefore, after farther group deliberations, we decided to come up with a persona that will help us identify a target market. Our persona is a middle aged single house home owner who needs to shovel his driveway at 6am in the morning at -15c outside when it's still dark because he needs to drive to work at 8am.
With this persona in mind, we decided to design a heating glove that will keep the user warm depending on both the hands' temperature and the outside temperature. We also wanted to have some source of light to be added on. With that in mind, we had two options for the heating: using Heating Pad or Peltier Plate. I have been assigned to make the Peltier Plate work.
