We created these pieces when Surface emerged as a versatile device spanning creative and practical uses. It was a significant, innovative shift for Microsoft. 

There are a couple approaches — some show what went into the making of the devices, and others explore what you can do with it (like the shadow that portrays the outcome while the screen highlights the project itself).

The project changed tack, but I liked where this was headed.
