Context:
For this brief we were required to create an original craft coffee brand and packaging for it. A large percentage of global coffee suppliers are African countries which have experienced and endured war. I have named the coffee Udweshu Roasted Coffee.
Concept:
Conflict.
The name "Udweshu" is a Zulu term for conflict. Udweshu Roasted Coffee sources its ingredients from countries that have endured the severity of war and the coffee descriptors use this information to differentiate each coffee blend according to depth of flavour and level of conflict in that country. The range includes: Boiling Togo, Steaming Rwanda and Simmering Ethiopia.
