Dartmoor zoo needed a fresh new look. The inspiration came from the zoo's main attraction; big cats. A major characteristic was taken from the big cats; camouflage, and applied across the identity, creating posters, information plaques, brochures, tickets and a logo.
The whole concept of camouflage is to not be seen, so the point of my illustrations is to imply the animals are in in the image, but cannot be seen.
Below is the logo, inspired from the personal aspect of the zoo, the signature aspect of the logotype outlines this.
