Held at the end of the school year, Spring Roar is a culminating event that allows our department to award our most outstanding Team Mizzou students. Those who have shown leadership, service, excellence, and have great promise are awarded in front of their peers. This event also allows our students to interact with those whom they do not normally see during regular work shifts. It is regularly hailed as the highlight of the year.
EVENT LOGO
The Spring Roar logo received an update this year, drawing on Art Deco references and featuring the spirit of Mizzou's iconic columns.
EVENT PROGRAM
This year's event program provided a history of Team Mizzou and the Spring Roar celebration, award information, and the names of award recipients.
EVENT INVITATION
We use Eventbrite to handle event registration information. A customized layout complements the event's theme.
T-SHIRTS
Not all Team Mizzou members are invited to Spring Roar, only those who meet MizzouRec's high standards of excellence. Those who are invited receive a t-shirt, a memento of the occasion, but also a mark of achievement. The design purposefully does not continue the event's visual theme to increase wearability. EVENT BANNERS
Award winners are displayed on banners at the event and in the facility afterward, for members and students to view.
SNAPCHAT GEOFILTER
For the first time, Spring Roar had its own Snapchat Geofilter for attendees to add on their event photos.
SCHOLARSHIP CHECKS
MizzouRec was proud to distribute new scholarships at this year's event. No better excuse for a gold backdrop and giant checks.
SLIDESHOW
A slideshow helps direct the event and builds anticipation for award winners. Winners are kept top-secret until the reveal at the podium.
