The essence of Marriage

According to Sri Lankans, it is not a huge issue among the new generation. Still, it has made an impact on the parents who do not accept the issue of inter-religious marriage. In popular usage, parents’ blessings are important to deliver a successful marriage. further, my research spoke to couples who are married without parents’ permission or blessings. Generally, they would have to keep away from their parents.
As a consequence of that they will have to exist alone, and they do not have awareness of man and wife. As a result of that inter religious relationships end up with divorce. Divorce is engaging with civil law, but the civil law does not treat them the same way as religious law.

“The essence of Marriage” publication expands as a guide for people who are already in inter religious relationships and who are willing to marry into a different religion. The core of the publication was a traditional marriage system in Ceylon and so, I looked into traditional Sri Lankan wedding materiel such as wedding cards ,the use of type and color, and the print materials to strengthen the communication with the reader. The pages of the book are multilingual [English, Tamil and Sinhala] to show the contrast between each religion. My idea behind the publication showcasing educating the possibilities of having a successful Marriage.
