Interactive PDF: Psychological Foundations of Instructional Design
This was my first PDF that I had ever created. I struggled with using photoshop and Adobe Acrobat since it was my first time. I really enjoyed putting this project together. Below is a video that shows each hot button and what each learner would see if they scrolled over the widgets.
Below are some of screen shots that I struggled with...
One of the common themes was figuring out how to condense such a vast amount of information in such a small area. I found that also making sure that all the text aligned was challenging since I was dealing with circles.
I really enjoyed using Adobe Acrobat for the first time. Youtube was a very good resource of mine during this project. Adding the Hot Spots was challenging since there was no audio to tell the learner to either hover over the widget or to physically click the learning theory. I decided to have the mouse hover over the widget to trigger the second layer.
All in all, using Adobe photoshop for the first time with no template or preconstructed image was a real treat. It allowed me to think outside the box. I wanted to show my creativity without having it distract from the lesson intended.
