ANCHOR MAN – A corporate design concept for the 2024 Olympic Games candidacy of Hamburg

Utilizing a crowdsourcing app, a candidate logo for the 2024 olympic and paralympic games in hamburg, germany has been proposed. Developed by Barbara Madl and Hojin Kang, with supervision from Heinrich Paravicini, the sample was one amongst a pool of submissions judged by a panel of creatives. Simple and honest, the ‘anchor man’ logo caters to an international crowd, and represents the country of germany. Other ‘icons’, generated by users are found within the accompanying corporate identity.
