Accordion Book
For this project I chose a tunnel-like space from one of the MICA campus buildings to represent. When observing the space I noticed a key element to the space was its re-occurring linear patterns found throughout the structure and in the shadows cast from the daylight. Using this as a fundamental focus I went onto designing the accordion book while also concentrating on key design elements of point, line and plane in order to create a sequence. The accordion book is a graphic representation of the tunnel space.
