Balsa Tribe Surfboards was a company based in Playas, Ecuador. The balsa for the boards was harvested as part of a sustainable project to support Indigenous tribes of the Ecuadorian Amazon. I was responsible for all branding and creative design of the company from 2006-2007.

Extended project of Balsa Tribe created as an effort to give back to some of the most recently contacted tribes of the Ecuadorian Amazon, with a focus on supporting women artisans from the Woarani, Chachi, Awa, Shuar, and Sequioa
