House of Garrard

House of Garrard's 2017 collection, shot by Cameron James-Wilson for the launch of the House's new website.

House of Garrad was established 1735, making it the longest serving jeweller in the world. Over it's reign is has earned the reputation as the Queen's jewellers, having been engaged in decorating royal love stories since 1840, when Prince Albert commissioned the House to create a saphire and diamond cluster brooch as a wedding gift to his future wife, Queen Victora of England.

The retouch process involved creating new backgrounds with the lighting and shading gradients, some compositing of jewellery and attention to clothes, skin and hair. I developed a colour grade to marry the required desaturated backgrounds with the subtle colours across skin, clothes and jewels, allowing for the House's collection to shine with elegance.
