Caroline County Economic Development
Project Purpose:
To sell Caroline County as a nearly perfect area for large companies, corporations and organizations to locate their next project – from an office campus to industrial & manufacturing to a transportation hub.
Audience:
CEOs and decision makers of corporations and organizations – domestic and international. Mostly to foster some recognition and interest in Caroline County. The real decisions of where the billion dollar corporations locate are much more complex and generally take many years to complete.
Background:
Caroline County has a combination of location, the lowest taxes and very competitive tax incentives for businesses that locate to the county. Caroline is situated along the Atlantic seaboard between cosmopolitan areas busy with commerce. Although Caroline has direct access to major highways and is an easy distance from sea and inland ports, it still has large tracts of available land for companies to purchase and build on. Another big plus is that the local government welcomes growth.
Solution:
The concepting and text for his project were the responsibility of the Caroline County Economic Director.
The attached DVD content was created by a third party.
I worked closely with the Caroline County Economic Director on this project. My responsibilities were the design of the brochure, creating maps, choosing and purchasing stock photography, securing printing bids, securing DVD replication bids, fulfillment of the DVD replication, working directly with the printer as liaison and for fulfillment and shipping of the brochure.
