Our goal was to create memorable, fun characters to help educate Universal Orlando Resort’s employees on investment benefits. This collaborative and dynamic project increased participation from 41.9% to 49.4% in the first two years. A significant gain for an industry with young employees and a high turnover rate. The comprehensive campaigns have garnered multiple industry awards and continues to increase plan participation. The 401(k) Kid and his dog, Rollover, have been heralded as the heroes of Universal Orlando’s retirement plan and investment education.
