PLAKAAT! | Create your own poster.

Moodboard.
For the moodboard i chose well known designers from all over the world. Here you can see works from Armin Hofmann, Barbara Kruger, David Carson, El Lissitzky, Gyorgy Kepes, Ikko Tanaka, Jacqueline Casey, Joseph Muller-Brockmann, Marcus Kraft, Nevill Brody, Paula Sher, Piet Zwart, Ruth Ansel and Inimitable Saul Bass.

I decided to give the user a choice between "Sign up" and "Try app". At the first glance it can be a little bit strange, but i wanted to give the user freedom to explore app before giving me their personal data. So, if the user like the app, he more likely to spend some money.

Profille page.
It's all about user. Storage works, browse through collections, see followers, edit your personal info.

"Sociopathy"
This poster was created to showcase few app effects, such as motion blur and warp.

Store.
PLAKAAT! concept should earn money, and in-app store is the best way to do that. Business earn money - user get more interesting graphics. It's a fair deal.

Community.
Community is a big feed with created works that everybody can share with social networks, or add to collection or even print works. Every poster has a caption with paper size, so it's always obvious what size is this poster.

"Malibu sunset"
This poster showcase grain effect and gradient possibilities. Of course, it's CMYK colours.

Editor.
Editor was the most hardest part of the concept, because i didn't want to create another photo editor, but i should keep in mind printing necessity. To determine what effects and tools i should include i dive deeper in the history of posters and found key tools and effects that used for centuries.
My little invention in the editor - is lack of the icons. Every tool is text labeled as you can see. It's made for simplicity of recognition. e.x. when i run VSCO app (that inspires me a lot) and tried to edit my photos i became enraged. It's just because i can't remember what icon means what.

"Angel"
It's the last poster in the series and it shows how the photo, typography, textures and patterns can play together.

Checkout.
It's a final stage, where user can add some finishing to the poster, pay for it and... wait impatiently until his poster arrives.

Thank you for scrolling!
It was a bit long presentation huh?
