Below are some pages from the character guide, authored in parallel with the sketches to try and define, as quickly and succinctly as possible, the tone of both the game and the hero.
This was the first ever sketch of Penny, and served as a tonal guide for the entirety of the project.
It was important to keep testing character designs in rough context -- not in isolation.
