The festival celebrates widely acknowledged Hungarian grotesque writer István Örkény, who would have his centenary anniversary in the given year. Two of his outstanding works provided the basis for the festival identity: the well famous “One minute novels”, and the ironic theater play entitled “Tóték” , which revolves around the terroristic boxing complexity of a rehabilitating army major. All elements of the identity pack are aiming to reflect the snappy, most times cruelly sharp mentality of the artist, both in materials and designs.
