De Villiers Chocolatiers - Branding and packaging design
Branding and packaging design for the De Villiers Chocolatiers in South Africa. The packaging design was initially inspired by Minnie Mouse’s National Day. However, this was a bizarre idea to have a limited edition polka dot De Villiers packaging range, just because of Minnie Mouse’s National Day. Plus, they had no special connection to the Disney character. My design inspiration focused on Minnie Mouse’s polka dotted dresses, minimalistic Pop Art and three Pinterest images.
Deliverables: logo, chocolate block wrapping packaging, info-graph, a catalogue about the tree to factory process, the bean to bar process and a tasting sheet for the different chocolates.
These three pictures were taken from Pinterest and inspired my layout designs on each chocolate bar.
