Sophia's Portraits Logo (Summer 2016)

The Brief: Design a new logo for a small portrait painting company that had both personal and professional appeal.

Client: Sophia’s Portraits

The Process: This project began with a collection of “Brush Stroke” and “Handwritten” fonts. These were paired with a series of images. Eventually the client settled on the use of a paintbrush as their identifying icon. The project was completed in three major rounds of revisions.

Challenges: Challenges for this project included working within the client’s budget and finding a way to introduce a “painting feel” to the logo.
