"The prison in your eyes"
Made for the national contest "Eyes that don't see, México doesn't feel", this illustration shows a traditional Mexican girl with her eyes as cells. Behind the bars, two birds are locked: an eagle and a dove, symbols of México and peace respectively. The olive branch that fades in the women's cheek seems like a teardrop to represent the sadness this woman feel, unable to see what happens in front of her.
