The Double Dagger Logo Experiment

This was the very first logo I came up with. I was thinking about t-shirt designs for creative people, but wondered if type designers would laugh because having 2 "daggers" isn't actually a "double dagger".
Friends and neighbours like the logo and I put it on a shirt for my neighbour, but I'm not happy with the design. Though I might revisit it and add outlines to where the glyphs overlap.
Another attempt for Double Dagger Tees. The difficulty with using the letter "D" is that if you put a lowercase "d" backwards it becomes a "b" :)
The glyph in the middle is the "dagger" from the Colonna MT typeface.
Slightly improved variation on a single double-dagger glyph in Times New Roman that I used for a social media profile for a while.
This was essentially the apex of this design so far (as of Oct 21, 2016). I distressed the logo using a scanned t-shirt I owned and did all the work in Gimp and Inkscape. I now own 2 shirts with this design on it. Products with this image on it are available on Redbubble and it was the first sale I had on Redbubble, as well as the first sale of one of my designs to someone I didn't know.

Someone from Germany is now wearing this on a shirt!

Does that make me a professional, international designer? :)
