Like its namesake, The Ramleela Collection brings the ancient epic of Ramayana mesmerizingly to life. Each piece has a gravity of spiritual value, and the dynamic form , stylized figurines and striking composition provide a narrative that is almost theatrical in nature.
The Ramleela Collection provides a fresh narrative to the Ramayana, identifying these core emotions in every scene and highlights and exaggerating them in a very relatable manner. Narrative, form and function fuse together seamlessly in a mutually complementary manner, each enhancing and raising the value of the others. The faceless, nameless figures of dhokra are now recognizable characters, yet the strong visual and cultural identity of dhokra remains intact, seamlessly incorporating the dhokra style, traditional motifs and adivasi culture.
The antique, handcrafted look of dhokra makes the pieces seem as old as the ancient epic itself, sculpted from life and older than time. Owning them feels like owning a piece of history.
YUDHA KANDA
CHESS SET
The Yudha Kanda Chess Set pits the Vanar Sena against the Rakshasa Sena, recreating the epic battle of the Ramayana for an epic chess set.
The main characters from the story have been personified to represent individual chess pieces. On the Vanar side, King is Rama, Queen Sita, Wazir is Hanuman and Laxmana is the Knight, with vanars making the pawns and Castle. Similarly, on the Rakshasa side, King is Raavan, Queen is the devious Surupnakha, Wazir Kumbhkarna and Meghnadha is the Knight.
PANCHAVATI
DIFFUSER
Ram and Sita play hide and seek at their hut in the jungle at Panchavati while Laxmana keeps vigil atop the hut. The soft fumes of a dhoop batti or light of a diya bring an ethereal touch to this diffuser as they play with the intricate jaali work.

A thousand elephants attempt to awaken Kumbhkarna by pushing him off his bed , in this case the box to which he forms the lid.

Lav and Kush tease their prisoner, Hanuman, whom they defeated and captured along with Lord Rama's entire army, foiling the Ashwamedha Yagna.
FAMILY REUNION
