Original photograph that is a computer wallpaper I found on Google of a model. Her eyes and matching scarf around her head caught my attention and I thought would make interesting artwork.

I next used Find Edges on the photograph.

Using various brushes and masking, I started to bring back the color to the artwork.

Next, I added a charcoal filter to a mask to bring back some detail.

Here is the artwork with the charcoal filter masked in the next layer.

The final artwork was achieved after creating another layer and masking back in some of the detail from the layers underneath. Some more brushwork, cloning to remove unwanted shadows and curves adjustments completed the project.
