Inspired by the history of the site and its partially industrial look, my initial thought was to create a simple but elegant building which would contrast with the existing structures.Taking the concept of sagging fabric from the leather factories which existed in the area, I came up w ith the idea of a curving roof which would also symbolise the graceful movements of badminton players and dancers using the building.
