    Pondok Chomel means “Cute Hut” in Malay. The 3-bedroom building was originally planned for low-cost service apartments. However, the new owners have converted the space into a trendy, artsy and comfortable bed and breakfast. They wanted to portray the beauty of the island by showcasing its local nature with photography. For example, the backdrop of the living room is a picture of the waves that can be seen during certain seasons in the nearby beaches of Sanur, in the paradise island of Bali where the property is located. Same goes for the backdrop for the bedroom which is actually a commissioned shot of the local plants that can be found outside the property. The mixed use of modern and old furniture gives the space an eclectic feel without compromising the facilities of the B&B. Read Less
