I built this conference room table from (mostly) reclaimed materials: maple, oak, and walnut. The pattern gives the table symmetry, while each piece being completely different gives it an organic feel. 

I designed the cable passthrough to be at the nexus of the table's unique design. The raised profile (in walnut) with its rounded edge ensures cables stay on the table, but don't get in the way.
