Stone light installations respect the exchange of the day and night so during
the day they are ordinary looking stones while overnight they are flashing lights
providing a magical experience. The idea was to create a light installation that would
be like mimicry in nature, unobtrusive, without impairing the harmony of the park.
Led by persuasion that the night should stay the night, dark and unpolluted with light,
I created an installation that sheds only minimum amount of light, just as much as
needed. The light is triggered by movement, and the energy is solar.
Amorphous stone forms are excellent fit in the space of forest or park. They can
be large and small, more or less geometric... The stones can't be damaged,
stolen or moved if they are big enough.
The purpose of these sculptures is to encourage the interest of passers, their
detour or retention, and the creation of new experiences and memories...
