Habitación 116 is an architecture and interior design studio as well as a furniture and decor shop that offers a completely custom experience for each client, whether it’s designing a space or an object. Both these aspects have a similar weight within the overall brand structure.
Graphically, Habitación 116’s branding is also perceived as a custom-made experience. Savvy Studio designed a graphic language that faithfully represents the brand’s values through high-quality materials and finishes that encompass the overall brand experience; always in a subtle and elegant way that allows the materials to speak for themselves about quality and tangibility
H116’s highly personalized experience makes this brand extremely emphatic, highlighting its values of community and belonging. Its complete name, Habitación 116, can easily transform into an easy and familiar term by referring to it by its first name, a feat we achieved by minimizing 116’s visual weight in order to heighten Habitación’s importance.
These attributes are clearly seen in their design approach, which uses only the highest quality materials. Their work is not about reinventing forms, it’s more about their insider’s knowledge, an affinity and overall good taste in well-executed design, and a deep understanding of space and the infinite experience possibilities yet to be shared by its inhabitants. Since H116 has their own workshop, every minuscule detail in every project always turns into something tangible.
The paper was carefully selected together with H116’s architects and imported from Arjowiggins paper in Europe, a process that perfectly replicates the meticulous materials selection H116 makes for all their textiles, mostly imported from Italy and France. In order to enhance the quality of the materials, the logotype is always presented in a very tactile way: embossed and with a light varnish.
