I started my "type spotting" photography blog Typography in the City in 2011. I was inspired by: 1) a book on photography I picked up at the 2011 HOW Design Conference, 2) the need for exercise during my last month of pregnancy, and 3) my love of typography. A few years later, I self-published a book based on the blog. The blog was featured on HOW Design's Top 10 Websites for Designers.
