This is the third year that I am making a calendar, and every time I am enjoying a lot the process of thinking about the format, the theme, creating the illustrations and mounting the final piece. This year was a longer process than the last two because I didn't really know what it would be about. I started from one or two illustrations (the waterlilies and the clovers) and the rest came around quite organically. Quite a few illustrations ended in the bin, but in the end I kept only the ones I was really proud about.
