Bar van Gogh is an pub located in the village of Nuenen. The typical appearance of the pub can be seen everywhere. The sunflowers on the tables, the old furniture and the paintings that sometimes hang crooked.
The question was to make an design for the wall where he created a small dining area. Together with the owner I went to an antique dealer and we picked out some old stuff. The owner of the pub is an old champion boxer, for this reason we have included two paintings from old well-known boxers. The old wooden crates give a good atmosphere that suits his pub. Because many customers have been in his pub for years, they often say that it’s giving them a ‘living room’ feeling at Bar van Gogh. That's why we bought antique house items that enhance this ambiance.
