This series of academic calendars was used as an exploration of the different ways that type and image interact with one another. The methods that were explored included fusion, fragmentation, inversion, and separation.
We learned how to pair type with images based on content, such as portraits, landscapes, and architecture, and how to create illusions of depth through these relationships all while being restricted to a two-dimensional surface.
