Catalog Layout and Design
Each year at the NAMM Convention (National Association of Music Merchants), Samson unveils it's newest product lines for the oncoming year. And with each year, we develop a new, specialized catalog highlighting these products to act as informative giveaways.
Unlike previous catalogs I've developed, with Hot Products 2012 I tried to make the best possible use of the stunning imagery Samson had collected within the past year. This included not only directing a handful of product shoots tailored specifically to the landscape layout of the catalog, but also working with the editorial department in whittling down the copy to present each product as neatly and succinctly as possible. With that simplistic layout in mind, I opened up enough room to play with the boldness of the headlines introducing you to each product.
