Looking outwards
The project was designed to defragment the existing space, enhancing its geometry and visual continuity and obtaining maximum space utilization.
In order to achieve that, the door openings were expanded and relocated and the hanging wall cabinets were replaced by floating shelves (that also hide the extractor hood pipe and the herb window boxes).
The old 15x15 wall ceramic tiles were removed and substituted by a grid of the same size tilework, and beneath the vinyl tile flooring, the original pink terrazzo was revealed and restored.<
