Art Director
JCPenney sponsored the NSAC advertising competition for 2011. Unlike
I was chosen as Art Director over the 25 member team of Creo Advertising.
As art director I was able to delegate sections of the book to be design by the Creo
JCPenney sponsored the NSAC advertising competition for 2011. Unlike
previous years they wanted to specifically target women ages 25-34.
I was chosen as Art Director over the 25 member team of Creo Advertising.
In this position I had the opportunity to redesign JCP’s logo and oversee all
graphic elements of the campaign.
At Creo we wanted to brand JCPenney as a company that cares and wants to
be in involved in every aspect of womens lives.
Our slogan In Your Life repositions JCP to be at the forefront on women's
minds when they shop.With the use of creative advertising tactics such as our
staircase ads Creo developed a campaign that would change the face of JCPenney.
In addition to developing an integrated campaign, each team must design a 32 page
plans book containing all elements of the campaign including; marketing strategy,
advertisements, social media, and event promotion.
As art director I was able to delegate sections of the book to be design by the Creo
staff which was then finalized and edited by myself.
