Geometric shapes represent the discussed simplicity, with the orange hexagons representing dual abstract images of beehive cells and film reels on a projector. The blue and grey triangles and trapezoids represent dual images of the projector lens shining light toward a screen, and the universal "Play" button icon. The black rectangle with the white typeface recreates the current signs in subway stations of the New York City Metropolitan Transit Authority. The placement of the images is designed to create a 3D effect through the illusion of a subway running on tracks, heading toward a focal point in the distance. A forward/upward arrow is formed in the negative space.
