About the project
This project roughly showcases my design process when it comes to importing sketches into illustrator. This particular instance is a character design that I made back in the days. So as every authentic and descent character design deserves, here is a little background story on our little friend.
Background story
Tim comes from the old land of Beanaria, Beanarians hate the rain because it makes the little green plant on their heads to grow up resulting in them to fade away eventually but also creating new little beans. Tim is a nice guy, get to know him!
Importing sketches
First off I start with importing my sketches and working on the basic shapes to get a grasp of how the character will look like.

Working on the details
Moving on I work on the details of the design that will form the various characteristics of my character and experimenting with the color palette, also I work on the lettering of the logo that will accompany my design.

Finishing off
In this final step of the design all the decisions are made and some subtle effects are applied that add up to the final look and feel.

Presentation
Finally I create some presentation material that will get me the sense of where and how the design could be applied. This final step also helps the client or collaborator to get an idea of how the final design will look like on the medium it will be applied to.

Final thoughts
This project is just a rough presentation of my main pipeline when it comes to sketch imports. It definitely involves a lot of other steps that will probably be showcased in another design.
