The concept for this work came from my love for all things nautical. The full sails and the name 'airdeck' suggest speed to inspire the surfer to ride the waves like a speed boat. The wood grained surfboard itself suggests the deck af a yacht.
All illustrations are vector including the wood grain. I used mesh to achieve the wood grain for surfboards, as well as light wood grained opacity mask to add 'wood rings'. The red sail is also a mesh to add light and a 3D effect.
