Buildings have beendesigned to set in the nature rather than standing out from it. Heights of thebuildings correspond to the natural undulation of the contours. The pathwaysare made out of flagstones which form connections between the indoor andoutdoor activities throughout the site.

Plan of the Bazaar is predominantly organic, withthe unwinding pathways connecting shops, keeping up the element of play andsurprise and forming a loop. Much greenery and plantation compensates for thepaved pathways of bazaar. Open air sitting under the trees, inside bazaar givesan element of natural setting.

Architectural stylehas been adopted from the buildings that exist from the past in this region,though the new development in the area doesn’t show a continuity of traditionalarchitecture of the area. The idea is to conserve the architectural identity ofthe region that existed in past and revive it before it gets wiped offcompletely. Fabric of the buildings designed, imitates the traditional formsand vocabulary of local architecture. Stone and wood have been used to renderthe facades in traditional style.

Certain planningtechniques of the local architecture have been used where applicable, forexample, courtyards were integral part of houses. Here, similar concept isapplied in the resorts area, where buildings form a compound with a centralgreen space with sitting and water pond, which gives the feeling of acourtyard.
