Here is a mood board of furniture from the 50's,60's and 70's that I used to draw inspiration from, for this project.

For my prototypes, I used sculpting foam (left) and modelling clay (right).

Pattern made using MDF wood. I cut 6 60mm circles, glues them together and let them dry. I then cut a 41mm hole towards the edge, at a point that I found appropriate, before sanding down the diagonal at a suitable angle.Once sanded down, I glued the pattern to the pattern plate, sprayed on sanding sealer and sanded that down. I repeated this until the pattern was completely smooth.

Using ABS, I created a pattern around the box and used duct tape to ensure that the box was well attached to the pattern plate.
