Mastering the Elements - Class Assignment

Mastering the Elements, filmed in The Animation Studio, John S. Donaldson Technical Institute.
My Sister, Sarika, was very easy to work with even though she had never done anything like this prior. She took direction well and managed to play her role beautifully, except she never broke eye contact with me. She wanted to make sure that what she was doing was right.
Another side effect of her staring at me was that her expression  and posture seemed very disinterested, but she did look very focused.
Nicholas did not make much eye contact with me but relied on direct and verbal interaction; he was a little more difficult to work with. This was not that he was doing a poor job, it seemed that he was worried that he would not perform as I wanted him to.
As a result, his character seemed full of emotion and conflict, which was purely accidental.
Marc's knowledge of Stop Motion was especially helpful as he needed very little direction for his part in this short.
Also, he owns his own cloak, which for this particular project was a plus. He gave his character emotion and he clearly enjoyed the experience of working on this Assignment with my team and I.
