Falling Object Levitation Observer Machine

PROTOTYPE. A realized window-box and door-wall, 2012
Imagine a machine that shows how your objects behave during free fall. A device that
transforms, the final moment before impact into a floating image, then projects and archives it. The
end-product of the Floatomatic Machine is an infinite video clip of infinite parts.

The Falling Object Levitation Observer Machine, graduation project of Máté Pacsika, is video-
installation generating a complex spatial situation. We placed it at his uni's buliding facade,
separating technicians and the observing crowd. By flashing up the images of the falling objects
rapidly one after another, we created a visual loop that was visible to the public on a suspended
large screen.

We extended the building as much as needs to be.
