Re-Imagine vehicle fitment engine for TireBuyer.com

The project was to re-imagine the fitment engine on the landing page. Our Data showed that the fitment engine wasn't the primary focus of our landing page.

In the first idea I diminish the priority of the fitment engine to test with a CTA that would launch fitment. The idea is that this doesn't hit the user as soon as they get into the site and allows them to browse product and see what we have to offer. The hero focuses on sale item and featured product. We then focused the shopping patterns based on user interest.

Below the hero we celebrate our connection with alternate forms of payment followed by performance targeted shopping. In an effort to drive more traffic to our wheels selection, we provide a fitment engine in the third marketing spot and highlight some of our top selling product.

Below the wheels marketing points we open up our education center, which links to FAQ and tips and tricks about storage, fitment, and finding a product that matches your climate and driving style. This was added to our initial product as an aid to brand trust.

The below vision is a window activated onClick of the CTA - The fitment asks for the required information and takes the user through a simple fitment offering with more options available on demand
Once you choose the year, the fitment refreshes to the next stage that allows you to choose the make of the vehicle. In addition, a breadcrumb shows above the "step wizard", that allows you to see the vehicle you are building out.

Once you choose the trim, you are provided with the ability to drive into product options.
