Alternative Press Magazine Redesign
This project was to redesign a current magazine's masthead, cover and spine, and 4 spreads for the cover story. I chose Alternative Press (AP) Magazine and their April 2016 Pop Punk issue. Most of the cover's content is from this issue, while some is made up. The main story, however, is from the magazine and the images are from the band's social media accounts. I selected my color scheme from the cover photo and found supporting images based around those colors for cohesion within the spreads. My design is meant to be practical with simplistic, stylized type treatments and a commercial and balanced layout.
