This was a journey that took a long time to finish!
Pointillism/Stippling was truly fun...for the first, maybe 3 hours. But the results of this style of illustration is fantastic. This was my first ever attempt at this style and I am really happy with the result. I think that this style was really great for a Batman and Joker poster because it has this grainy and gritty look to it, especially when it was finished and edited in Photoshop when I added the rough city landscape and grey dusty sky.

I wasn't really sure what I was going to colour once I brought it into Photoshop, should I paint his green vest? Should I paint his green hair and batman's belt yellow? Eventually I just went with the red smiles on their faces, as if it was the joker painting smiles over the poster. I added red to the Joker's fingertips just because it helped even more to become a little more darker.
