Preen: Sculptural Plant Housing

Preen is a sculptural plant housing that incorporates moments of rest
into the act of caring for your plant.

The slow, gently curving lines of Preen are designed to encourage an equally slow and thoughtful interaction from the user. By using these shapes as a housing for plants, Preen highlights the meditative quality of caregiving that is inherent in growing plants.

It works by employing a simple mechanism. Water is stored in the organic top form of Preen. With each touch, water pours onto the plant. Therefore every time someone takes the time to sit down with Preen, they not only nurture themselves, but the plant as well.
