Every year, Tri-State G&T hosts a free communications event for all of the rural electric co-ops it serves. Topics include best practices for writing marketing plans, details on energy efficiency rebate programs, promotions, and more. The 2016 event was themed “Re-energize Your Inner Rockstar” because many of the co-ops only have one communications person who does the work of multiple people. An identity, inspired largely by Jimi Hendrix posters, was created and carried across invitations, directional signage, a booklet, and other event materials.
