The students of Boston University College of Fine Arts put mind, body and soul into the work that they do to create a process that is unique to them. Many people don’t understand the true commitment it takes to create a piece of art. Their process can become almost ritual and bring the artist into a concentrated state that is near impossible to remove them from unless their piece is completed. Whether it be setting up an area, prepping materials, what area is first to work on, a color that is always applied last or the steps taken during clean up, there is a reason to the madness that usually follows an artist that doesn’t just come from the constant inhaling of chemicals.
